Welcome to our car rental website. Please read carefully the following terms of use, which govern the use of our website and the services we offer.
1. Introduction
This website is provided by Hellas Rent, with headquarters at 15 Vlahavas, Kalambaka 42200, tel. +306948001600. By using our website and our services, you agree to the terms and conditions stated here.
2. Reservations and Reservation Changes
- Reservation Changes: You can change your reservation by email at least 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up of the car to ensure availability for the place and time of the reservation.
- Changes on Pickup: If you wish to change your booking when you pick up the car (eg, larger vehicle or change of return date), we will try to accommodate you accordingly availability, with extra charge.
2.1. Mileage Cost
• For a reservation of more than 4 days the kilometers you can travel are unlimited
• For booking a conventional car for less than 4 days you can do up to 200 km / day. Every additional kilometer beyond the free ones has an extra fee of €0.17 +vat / km
• For booking a commercial vehicle for less than 4 days you can do up to 150 km / day. Every additional kilometer beyond the free ones has an extra fee of €0.17 +vat / km
3. Deliveries and Collections Outside Operating Hours
Deliveries and pickups outside opening hours incur an additional charge of €25.
4. Rental Conditions
- Age of Driver: 23 to 75 years.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license for the Greek territory and the EU, issued at least one year prior to the rental start date, is required. For non-EU citizens, an international driving license is required.
5. Warranty
Upon receiving the vehicle, a security deposit will be held on the driver's credit/debit card, which will be refunded at the end of the rental period, provided no additional charges arise. The release of the amount may take up to 14 days, depending on the card issuer's bank. The amount of the security deposit varies by vehicle category. Alternatively, the customer may provide the security deposit in cash. Therefore, upon returning the vehicle, the full security deposit will be refunded, provided no additional charges have occurred.
6. Booking Cancellation
- Full refund of the deposit if the cancellation is made 48 hours before the start of the reservation.
- 50% of the deposit is charged if the cancellation is made between 24 and 48 hours before the start of the reservation.
- 100% of the deposit will be charged if the cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the start of the reservation.
7. Rental Over 30 Days
For rentals of more than 30 days, telephone contact is required.
8. Shipping Coverage
Carriage coverage extends all coverages and liability limitations when transporting the car by ship. Additional information is required upon receipt.
9. Deliveries - Pickups Outside Stations
Deliveries and pickups outside stations are carried out at the customer's request with an additional charge.
10. Cross-Border Restriction
It is not allowed to cross the border with the rental vehicle.
11. Insurance Coverage Exclusions (CDW/SCDW)
Damage or losses arising in the following cases are not covered:
The list below includes all cases, which in the event of damage, are not covered by the exemption/guarantee amount and the tenant will be charged accordingly:
- Any damage or loss of the antenna of the car's radio and internal audio system
- Any damage or loss of the car key, including the spare key, and any damage to the vehicle lock(s).
- Any damage to the bottom of the vehicle
- Any damage to the vehicle interior and upholstery
- Any damage to the vehicle's windows and tyres, if SCDW insurance is not included
- Cases where the vehicle is excessively dirty (exterior and interior) and requires extensive cleaning and special equipment.
- Any damage or loss of personal item(s) inside the rental car
- Any damage caused to the car engine due to negligence and incorrect use of the fuel type.
- Any damage to additional rental equipment (child/baby seat etc.)
- Any loss of electricity caused by personal negligence (forgetting headlights on, interior lights on, etc.)
- Any damage or loss of documents relating to the car and/or the car's license plates.
- Any damage incurred while driving off-road
- Any damage incurred while driving under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances.
- Any damages caused by the driver's personal negligence and any traffic violations.
- Any damage caused by improper driving (improper use of the clutch, etc.)
- Any damage caused by improper use of the hood and/or hood mechanism of the convertible car.
- Any loss of use due to immobility or landing of the vehicle.
12. Amendments to Terms
Hellas Rent reserves the right to modify the terms of use at any time. Changes will be posted on our website.

13. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using our website, you unconditionally accept the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use our website.
14. Description of Services
HellasRent offers car rental services through its website. Bookings can be made online where customers can select the vehicle type, rental duration and other available options.
15. Reservations and Payments
- Reservation: Reserving a car through our website is mandatory to ensure vehicle availability.
- Payments: Advance payment or full payment is required at the time of booking, depending on the terms applicable to the offer you choose. Payments are made through secure payment methods that we provide on our website.
- Bank transfer
You can transfer the amount of your reservation to one of our bank accounts. Please contact us for the exact amount. Once you have transferred the amount, please inform us either by email or by phone at (+30) 6948001600 to confirm the payment.

Eurobank GR6502602330000140202341108 - Credit card: If you have a VISA or MasterCard credit card, you can safely use it through our order form. The credit card payment process is covered by the most modern security standards. For the acceptance and charging of the card, it is necessary for the cardholder to be present and to have his/her identity card with him/her. These details are requested only during the first use of the card, they remain completely confidential and are not given to any third party.
- PayPal: You have the option to pay using the PayPal online payment service. By choosing the "PayPal" payment method, at the end of the reservation you are transferred directly to the PayPal page. If you are already a PayPal customer, you can log in to your account and confirm the payment. Anyone who has a bank account or a credit card can pay via PayPal without any problem. Top up your PayPal account via bank transfer or use your credit card to pay.
- Cancellation and Refunds: Cancellation and refund terms vary depending on the car category and the period of the reservation. Details are on your booking confirmation page.
16. Use of the Website
- Personal Data: Use of our website may require the collection of personal data. Use of this data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
- Content: The content of our website is protected by copyright and may not be copied, reproduced or used without our permission.
- Security: We take all necessary measures for the security of your personal data, but we cannot guarantee complete security when transferring data over the internet.
17. Responsibilities and Limitations
- HellasRent's responsibility: While we endeavor to ensure that all information on our website is accurate, we are not responsible for any errors or omissions.
- Limitation of Liability: HellasRent is not responsible for any direct, indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website or our services.
- Discontinuation of Services: We reserve the right to discontinue or change our website or services at any time without notice.
18. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any dispute arising out of or in relation to these terms will be resolved by the courts of Trikala.
